If it wasn't for this blog by my stylish cousin Shut My Eyes Can't Find the Break, I don't think I'd bother with this particular blog set up. I seem to be talking to myself most of the time and don't feel it's worth worrying about. So I guess this and any previous blogs will be all that remain of Rollerskates and Milkshakes.
So long!

Hello Bobinawarrah.
Well this is it....for a year at least. A little taste of country living.
So far we have endured (in the week and a half we've been here) stifling humid heat followed by crazy wind, rain and thunderstorms left over from cyclones Yasi and Anthony. Only now has the weather leveled out to a wonderful sunny 25 degrees with a lovely fresh breeze.
One thing I must say though, our neighbours are a bunch of cows!
Oh and another thing. There are so many fantastic cafe's, cellar doors and epicurean food stores with wonderful local produce ie bread, cheese, mustard, jam and wine just to name a few. I highly recommend checking out the Milawa Cheese Factory if ever up this way. They have a great bakery and selection of chevre goats cheese.
That's it from me for now....now where did I put my Akubra?

While the roast is cooking...
...I thought I'd tweak my little blog and talk about random goings on in my life.
Well I guess one not so random thing is that my sister as of today has had a new baby girl, Erin. Can't wait to see her.
I think I am destined to always have short hair due to my inability to grow it past the shapeless mop phase.
Moving interstate is a stressful and complicated process, yet exciting at the same time.
I am actually looking forward to Christmas in all it's commercial, twinkly lighted glory this year.
I can't wait to live only an hour and a half from Falls Creek and to take up snow boarding.
I'm not looking forward to the closest beach being 5 hours away.
That'll do for now, as much as I'd like the convenience of having dinner brush my teeth at the same time, I think I'd better go check on it.
So long.
P.S. I will miss you Stirling Organic Market and your beautiful Chai tea.
